OHV enthusiasts: Elliot Creek Trail closed ‘til further notice

The Elliot Creek Trail, an Off-Highway Vehicle (OHV) trail near Rogers Camp is closed due to logging in the area, the Oregon Department of Forestry said Thursday.

The trail, located in Tillamook County near the Washington County line connects to Stagecoach Horse Camp.

The state agency had no end date for the trail's shuttering, and said the closure would be for every day of the week until the end of the timber sale activity in the area.

"The trail will re-open once sale activity is complete and trail is safe to open," ODF said.
